A website or WhatsApp enquiry is not a confirmed booking. Clear written details should be agreed before any payment is made.

Before you book

Your written proposal should identify the contracting provider and include the itinerary, travel dates, traveller numbers, total price and currency, inclusions, exclusions, payment schedule and the cancellation and refund conditions that apply to that journey.

Confirmation and payment

A journey is confirmed only after Boma issues written confirmation and receives the required payment into the account named in that confirmation. Before transferring money, verify the payee details using a contact number you already trust. Do not rely on unexpected payment-detail changes sent only by email or social media.

Availability and changes

Lodges, permits, park access, transport and activities remain subject to availability until confirmed. Wildlife sightings and migration locations are natural events and cannot be guaranteed. If a material supplier change becomes necessary, the available alternatives and any price effect should be explained in writing.

Traveller responsibilities

• Check passports, visas, health requirements and entry rules for every destination.
• Disclose relevant accessibility, dietary or medical needs early enough for arrangements to be assessed.
• Follow guide, wildlife, park and safety instructions during the journey.
• Obtain comprehensive travel insurance suitable for the itinerary, activities, cancellation risk and medical evacuation.

The terms that govern your journey

The definitive payment, cancellation, amendment and liability terms are the written terms supplied with your quotation or booking confirmation. Read and retain them before paying. If anything is unclear, ask for an explanation in writing.
